SMS Opt-In and Consent

LegacyAI sends SMS messages only to users who have provided explicit consent.
Consent is collected in one of the following ways:
1. User-Initiated Text Message
A user sends an inbound SMS to the LegacyAI toll-free number. By initiating a text conversation, the user provides express consent to receive SMS responses related to their inquiry, account access, or verification.
2. Explicit Request for SMS Follow-Up
A user requests SMS communication during a phone call with LegacyAI or through a web-based interaction (for example, requesting a verification code or follow-up via text). Consent is recorded with timestamp and originating phone number.
LegacyAI does not purchase, rent, or use third-party contact lists. SMS messages are sent only in response to user activity.
Message Purpose
SMS messages are transactional and informational only, including:
- One-time passcodes or verification codes (2FA)
- Account-related notifications
- Direct replies to user-initiated messages
LegacyAI does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.
Opt-Out
Users may opt out of SMS messaging at any time by replying STOP. Upon opt-out, no further messages are sent unless the user re-initiates contact.
